LOTR stamps *Image Spoilers*

Well, I got roped into carving some stamps for placement elsewhere. I'm not making LTCs 'cause I don't do that. Gotta draw the line somewhere. :-)

I'll post the images here if anyone really wants to see them.

The first is Aragorn Strider.




I think it came out OK.


Now here's the image of Boromir. I don't really like it as much as the Aragorn one, but then I don't like Boromir as much as Aragorn anyway. I think I chose a hard image to carve.

I chose a shot of Boromir on the bridge right before the Balrog attacks and Gandalf goes to fight. Boromir is looking tough and angry so it's not a happy picture.

The image has a "darker" tone than the Aragorn image but in a way that fits. After all, Boromir did fall to the One Ring's power though he was redeemed in death.



IMHO Sean Bean has a difficult face to carve... :-)
